I came across this article today on the front page of the Raleigh News and Observer. Apparently a local woman is suing the city for damages due to “emotional distress” after the local club she played at changed a rule that penalized male club players if they refused to play against her.

The case will most likely get thrown out due to complete lunacy. What’s interesting is to read the comments after the article from those who have played against the women claiming she is a rule breaker and not really a “5.0” player. In any event, this whole thing sounds like a bad TV movie waiting to happen.
